Washington Review of the Arts
tabloid journal, reformatted as a continuous band of paper, 23’ x 16”, accordion folded into 11” x 16” panels, printed in 6 sections and hand-assembled, uncoated 65 lb text, black ink 1/0, 2,000 copies.
Special issue of The Washington Review, a bi-monthly journal of the arts and literature Vol VII No 2 1981. The mural-like expanse is divided into eight parallelograms — spaces for eight artists, chosen from a juried competition: Kevin Osborn, Lise Gladstone, Alec Dann, Julie Lea, Michael Reidy, Lee Haner, H. Terry Braunstein, and Sue Robinson Hoth. Diagonal advertising precedes the artwork. A wing-like cover wraps around the folded publication.
